The ikan Stratus Shoulder Rig System for Cinema Cameras provides a flexible shoulder mount rig suitable for a variety of cameras, from DSLRs to digital cine cameras. The rig sits comfortably on your shoulder and can be adjusted, so you can get your camera just where you want it. It features dual 360° rotating handgrips, extension arms, carbon fiber support rods, a counterweight, and a rotating EVF Holder. You can mount your camera directly onto the rig, or for added protection, use an optional cage for additional accessory mounting options that won't stress your camera's body. Made from CNC-machined aluminum, the shoulder rig includes a Manfrotto 501 compatible baseplate, allowing you to quickly go from a shoulder rig to mounted on your compatible tripod system.

The gel shoulder pad provides comfort for the operator and a stable platform on which to rest your camera. The extension arms mount on the sides of the cage and allow you to adjust the distance of the handgrips for your comfort. ARRI-compatible rosettes allow you to adjust the position of the included rubber handgrips while ensuring they don't shift or rotate during use. An orientable EVF mount accommodates monitors up to 7", but it requires an optional top mounting plate for the included 15mm rod clamp.

Shoulder Pad with Manfrotto 501 Compatible Mount

The included ergonomic shoulder pad features a dovetail setup compatible with Manfrotto 501 camera plates. This allows you to mount your camera onto the included camera plate featuring built-in 15mm LWS rod clamps, allowing you to mount accessories such as a lens support, follow focus, or matte box. This system allows you to shoulder mount your rig, then slide the shoulder pad off the baseplate and mount your rig, rods and all, onto your tripod with a Manfrotto 501 mounting system, for lightning-fast moves from tripod to shoulder mount setup.

Monitor and EVF Mounting

The orientable monitor/EVF mount supports monitors up to 7" as well as EVFs. You can adjust the viewing angle and the position relative to your camera by rotating the mount inside the top handle's clamp, as well as sliding the monitor mount along the rail. Please note that this requires your rig or camera to have a top plate to mount the included 15mm rod clamp to support the EVF.
The arm extensions, Dog Bones, feature an extension range of 3.25", from 5.25 to 8". The integrated rosettes allow you to securely orient the handgrips for your comfort.

Side Plates

The side plates attach to the baseplate and top plate. Each side plate features accessory mounting points and rosettes.

Top Plate

The top plate mounts on your camera and the side plates are secured to it. The top plate features numerous accessory mounting points.

15mm Rod Clamp

An individual 15mm rod clamp is included and allows you to mount a rod clamp virtually anywhere on a camera cage or top plate.
