ANALOG DEVICES AD7277BRMZ Analogue to Digital Converter, 10 bit, 3 MSPS, Single Ended, DSP, Microwire, QSPI, Serial, SPI

Product Overview

AD7277BRMZ is a 10bit, high-speed, low-power, successive approximation analogue-to-digital converter (ADC). It operates from a single 2.35V to 3.6V power supply and features throughput rates of up to 3MSPS. The parts contain a low noise, wide bandwidth track and hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies over 55MHz. The conversion process and data acquisition are controlled using active-low CS and the serial clock, allowing the devices to interface with microprocessors or DSPs. The input signal is sampled on the falling edge of active-low CS, and the conversion is initiated at this point. There are no pipeline delays associated with the part. It uses advanced design techniques to achieve very low power dissipation at high throughput rates.

  • Specified for VDD of 2.35V to 3.6V, flexible power/serial clock speed management
  • No pipeline delays, high speed serial interface SPI-/QSPI-/MICROWIRE-/DSP compatible
  • Signal-to-noise ratio is 70dB typical at (fIN = 1MHz sine wave)
  • Total harmonic distortion is -78dB typical at (fIN = 1MHz sine wave)
  • Full power bandwidth is 3MHz typical at (3dB, VDD = 2.35V to 3.6V)
  • Aperture jitter is 18ps typical at (VDD = 2.35V to 3.6V)
  • Integral nonlinearity is ±1LSB maximum at (VDD = 2.35V to 3.6V)
  • Total unadjusted error is ±3.5LSB maximum at (VDD = 2.35V to 3.6V)
  • Throughput rate is 3MSPS maximum at (VDD = 2.35V to 3.6V)
  • Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 8-lead MSOP package
