2.1MP Sensor
The ASI676MC features a 7.1mm square Sony sensor with a resolution of 3552 x 3552. The 2µ pixels accommodate a full well capacity of 10.55ke. The sensor boasts a quantum efficiency of 83%. The square shape of the sensor is highly compatible with wide-angle lenses for meteor capture and simplifies mosaic stitching.
USB 3.0 & 256M DDR3 Memory
The ASI676MC is equipped with a USB 3.0 transmission interface and a built-in 256MB DDR3 cache to ensure stable and secure data transmission. Under long exposure, it effectively avoids frame dropping and greatly reduces the glow effect caused by slow reading speed.
High-Conversion Gain Mode
HCG mode comes on automatically when the gain is set to 180, and it keeps readout noise as low as 0.56e while maintaining a nearly 11-stop dynamic range.
No Amp Glow
Using zero-glow amp circuitry, the ASI676MC eliminates amp glow�a weak infrared light source often created by traditional CMOS sensors, sometimes seen in the corners of uncalibrated images. You won't have to worry about it, even during high-gain, long-exposure imaging.
IR Cut Window
The 21mm diameter, 1.1mm thickness sensor window is infrared-cut coated to reduce IR interference and improve image quality.
