Thor H-2HDMI-2SDI-QAM-IPLL Overview
Convert HDMI and SDI signals to digital RF and IPTV stream simultaneously with the 2-Channel HDMI and 2-Channel SDI to QAM Modulator and IPTV Streaming Encoder from Thor. The all-in-one device, which can be controlled via NMS or front panel buttons, integrates MPEG-2 and MPEG-4/AVC H.264 encoding, modulation, and signal conversion for sources originating from satellite receivers, CCTV, Blu-ray players, and antennas with support for video resolutions up to 1080p60.
The unit features two HDMI and two SDI inputs, an ASI input via BNC, two ASI BNC outputs, and an IP port with RJ45 connectivity. Programs brought in via the ASI input can be multiplexed and remapped to the ASI outputs, which can be mirrored. Audio is embedded on both the HDMI and SDI inputs, but the HDMI option will preserve 5.1 and 7.1 audio in Dolby-compatible formats. All four incoming signals are easily mapped to unique IP address outputs with support for streaming UDP and RTP formats. The low latency modulator is ideal for a wide range of uses, including amphitheaters, malls, hotels, and more.
