This 4 x 5.65" ND1.2 Filter from Neewer adds neutral density across an entire image are for finer exposure control. Increasing neutral density offers more flexibility in available shutter speeds or aperture settings for both still and video applications. Using a longer shutter speed makes it possible to increase blur to convey a sense of movement. Increased density also makes it possible to shoot using wider lens apertures, helping to isolate a subject from the background and increasing bokeh.
This filter is made of optical glass for sharpness and features 30 layers of multicoating for optical light and color transmission. It also has a waterproof and scratch-resistant coating for use in harsh locations, and for easy cleaning.
