The kit includes two cables: one cable is compatible with the DSMC2 base expander and RED DSMC/DSMC2 cameras and that support the Schmitt Trigger run/stop protocol, and the other cable is compatible with RED DSMC/DSMC2 cameras that support the contact closure (a.k.a. "momentary ground") run/stop protocol. The cables feature a 4-pin LEMO-type 00B connector on one end and a half-moon style 2-pin LEMO-type connector on the other end.
