Broadcom HEDS-5500#A12 Rotary Encoder Optical Incremental 500 PPR 0 Detents Vertical Without Push Switch

The HEDS-5500#A12 is a 2-channel quick assembly Optical Incremental Encoder features high performance, high reliability, high resolution and easy to assembly. Each encoder contains a lensed LED source, an integrated circuit with detectors and output circuitry and a code wheel which rotates between the emitter and detector IC. The HEDS series utilizes metal code wheels, while the HEDM series utilizes a film code wheel allowing for resolutions to 500 CPR. This encoder may be quickly and easily mounted to a motor.
