API AUDIO 6-SLOT LUNCHBOX - 6B-HC Overview
Ideal for creating a customizable, portable rack system for numerous audio applications, the API Audio 500-6B is a 6-slot 500-series rack chassis sporting 250mA per slot and an internal universal manually switched power supply. Featuring both standard 3-pin XLR I/O and convenient DB25 connectivity, this lunchbox unit is versatile and compatible with a wide range of pro audio gear.
The XLR connections on channels seven and eight can be used for accessing these channels from the DB25 connectors for pass-through duties. The chassis features internal 48V phantom power for feeding mic pres, and LED indicators on the front for keeping an eye on the power rail activity. This lunchbox is constructed from rugged steel and features rubber feet and a carrying handle, making it easy to carry anywhere, place on any surface, and even use in demanding environments, like outdoor video shoots, while keeping your 500-series modules safe from impact damage.
