Product Overview

ADRF5144BCCZN is a reflective, single-pole double-throw (SPDT) switch manufactured in the silicon process. It operates from 1GHz to 20GHz with a typical insertion loss of 0.8dB and a typical isolation of 52dB. This device has a radio frequency (RF) input power handling capability of 40dBm average power and 44dBm peak power for the insertion loss path. This device employs complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS)-/low voltage transistor to transistor logic (LVTTL)-compatible controls. The ADRF5144 requires no additional driver circuitry, which makes it an ideal alternative to GaN and PIN diode-based switches. It can also operate with a single positive supply voltage (VDD) applied while the negative supply voltage (VSS) is tied to the ground. It is used in applications such as military radios, radars, electronic countermeasures, Satcom, test and instrumentation, GaN, and PIN diode replacement.

  • No low frequency spurious, positive control interface: CMOS/LVTTL-compatible
  • Wideband frequency range from 1GHz to 20GHz
  • Insertion loss is 0.8dB typical at (12GHz to 20GHz, VDD = 3.3V, VSS = -3.3V)
  • High isolation is 52dB typical at (9KHz to 20GHz, VDD = 3.3V, VSS = -3.3V)
  • Rise and fall time is 135ns typical at (10% to 90% of RF output, VDD = 3.3V, VSS = -3.3V)
  • 0.1dB power compression is 44dBm typical at (f = 1GHz to 18GHz, VDD = 3.3V, VSS = -3.3V)
  • Input third-order intercept is 70dBm typical at (VDD = 3.3V, VSS = -3.3V, TCASE = 25°C)
  • Input second-order intercept is 120dBm typical at (VDD = 3.3V, VSS = -3.3V, TCASE = 25°C)
  • Positive supply current is 130µA typical at (VDD = 3.3V, VSS = -3.3V, TCASE = 25°C)
  • Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, 20-terminal LGA package
